General Manager – Simon Wishart

Born and bred in NSW, Simon holds extensive experience in the grain industry.  He is well known to many producers in the region as a buyer for Weston Milling and Animal Nutrition and as the Manager of the Albury mill.

 

 

 

 

 

Regional Trading Manager – Peter Havrlant 

Peter holds a degree in Agricultural Science (Animal Science). He joined SAG in 2010 after 5 years in the Riverina working in the feedlot industry. This role was responsible for managing all commodity, feeding and manure operations in a 35,000 head feed yard. Prior to this he also worked with the NSW Department of Primary Industries as a Regulatory Officer and as a Quality Assurance Officer in the food industry. Peter has completed Grain Trade Australia’s Grain Commodity Trading & Marketing and Grain Standard courses.

 

 

 

 

Grain Merchant – Amy Galvin

Amy holds a degree in Business Management (Marketing) and has experience working in feedlot operations in Holbrook and Tarcutta.  She has completed Grain Trade Australia’s Trade Rules, Contracts and Dispute Resolution, Grain Commodity Trading and Marketing as well as Grain Standards courses.

 

 

 

 

 

Grain Merchant – Katherine Hillam

Katherine holds a degree in Agricultural Economics (Agribusiness) from the University of New England and has experience working in agribusiness banking. Prior to this she worked with Grain Corp, the Chamber of Commerce in Edinburgh and other roles in the UK.

 

 

 

 

 

Logistics Co-ordinator – Alicia McNab

Alicia has a Bachelor of Education (Primary) from Charles Sturt University and has successfully completed Certificates I, II and III in Transport and Logistics. She joins SAG with experience from Grain Corp as a Logistics Coordinator. Her role incorporated bulk grain movements by road throughout the East Coast of Australia, South Australia and Western Australia. She brings extensive relationships with freight providers and customers Australia wide. In addition Alicia has also completed Chain of Responsibly Management training as well as Applying Fatigue Management and Administer the implementation of fatigue management strategies.

 

 

 

 

Office Manager – Tanya Blondinau

Tanya joins the SAG team in 2011 as Office Manager. She brings with her extensive administration experience having worked in various office management and assistance roles at Active Foot Clinic, KRS Health and Maitland Medical Centre. She possesses a high level of grain industry knowledge having worked various harvests for various BHCs and holds a Certificate III in Financial Management from the Riverina Institute of TAFE.
